Overview
Dentatorubral-pallidoluysian atrophy (DRPLA) is a progressive brain disorder. Age of onset varies from childhood through to late adulthood. In children, it presents as ataxia, myoclonus, epilepsy, and progressive intellectual deterioration in children. In adults, it manifests as ataxia, choreoathetosis, and dementia or character changes.
